Ingredients
- 1 kg of green Molokhia (jute leaves)
- 6 cloves garlic finely crushed
- 2 tablespoon dried coriander
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon corn oil
Instructions
- Wash the Molokhia leaves and leave it to dry
- Chop the leaves using a blade or electric chopper
- Heat a cooking pot then add the chicken broth to heat up
- Add chopped Molokhia leaves to the broth and stir till you get a homogeneous mixture
- When the mixture starts to boil add the margarine to a separate pan then add the garlic and the coriander then mix quickly till you get a golden mixture
- Add the mixture of the pan to the Molokhia broth, stir quickly and turn off the heat
- This dish can be served with rice or bread
